Every action is an action of the whole, the one God. And the whole is beyond good and evil. Therefore we must be both so as to be at one with the whole.
The only thing that suffices is my perfection.
How do you attain the great, limitless emptiness? You do not. It cannot be attained. It is! You simply pierce through all that is with a superfine consciousness that is the emptiness.
The world can be an incredibly frustrating place when you expect something from it. Often the combination of sensitivity and expectation leads only to depression or despair, and the only way to turn things around is to stop expecting the world to give you something, and instead choose to give something to the world.
To link the above and below is to be the empty lover, the detached joker, the peace and the joy, the stillness and the flesh.
To be both male and female is to go beyond this realm of mortal duality, and so to enter the unified eternity.
The Stillness.
The absence of fear is not unfear, it is peace. To be without fear is to suddenly exist in peace. A person can be ripped to shreds with fear. Fear of doing something, and fear of not doing it. The same thing. Consider this type of dysfunctional duality, multiplied by the number of times in a day one must choose between two opposing fears, and you’ll get a picture of the subtle neurosis which plagues mankind. Then consider what it means to live without fear, and you will begin to know the Tao.
I am Pagan and Christian, Earth and Heaven, Darkness and Light, Flesh and Spirit. I am two essential halves of the whole.
