On Christ, the Goddess, and a Chinese Proverb

from the unpublished notebooks of Jack Haas

Thanks be to Christ for coming to earth.

Thanks be to the Goddess for receiving Him.

“A bird does not sing because it has an answer. A bird sings because it has a song.”

Chinese proverb

Becoming genderless.

Effortlessness is God.

Drumming experience: being a black woman in Africa.

Fear is not a part of the Kingdom. Have no fear.

This- even as I write- this is God.

All of this.

It is God.

There is no division.

I and everything.

One thing.

God.

I have come, also, so as to hold the silence and the space- to be that silence and that space. I am the emptiness so as to quicken others, and so as to recognize my own vastness, but I am not only emptiness.

My sin was every separated soul’s sin- the sin of trying to be something, or somebody, instead of not trying, and yet being everything, and nobody.

Somebody will always transform and die, but nobody will live changeless forever.

I am also form, though it be now an unlimited aspect of the one Godhead, and therefore is no different from the Divine consciousness which is the same thing as form. One.

I did not detach myself from the form, only the drama of personalities in the dream of separation and agony.
